New Availity Enhancements for Fourth Quarter 2024
Feedback from last year’s satisfaction survey is helping us to make Availity Essentials enhancements that are critical in the daily work of provider offices. We’re excited to introduce four new updates launching from November through the end of the year.
- Claim status
- Claim corrections
- Standard fee schedules
- Deluxe remittance viewer
Claim Attachments November 2024
If Premera requests additional information to process your claim or denies your claim due to lack of information, you can submit various types of attachments to Premera from the Claim Status Results page with the new Send Attachments button.

Once enrolled in the course, navigate to the Value-Added Features section and select the Send Attachments tab for a brief video.
Claim Corrections November 2024
Make necessary edits to a claim that Premera has already accepted for processing. Once you have submitted a Claim Status Request for the claim you’d like to correct, select the Correct this Claim button from the Claim Status Results page.

Deluxe Remittance Viewer Update November 2024
Access all claims associated with a specific explanation of payment (EOP) and reconcile those claims, all from within Remittance Viewer. Save time without navigating to the Claim Status application to search for each individual claim.

Standard Commercial Fee Schedules November/December 2024
Premera’s commercial standard fee schedule is accessible from within Availity Essentials, eliminating the need to contact Premera for a copy.

Claim Status December 2024
Quickly identify the status of a claim on the Claim Status Search Results page. In addition to the Finalized, Adjusted, and Pending statuses, the following statuses have been added for claims submitted to Premera: Denied, Approved, Action Needed.

*If you need a role assigned to you, contact your organization’s Availity Essentials administrator. To find your administrator, log in to your Availity Essentials account, go to [Your Name’s] Account > My Account > Organization(s) > Open My Administrators.
