Verify Coverage in the New Year

January 1, 2024, marks a new benefit plan year for many customers. It’s the perfect time to verify insurance coverage for your patients. For the fastest service in checking eligibility and benefits, getting a copy of a member’s ID card (not applicable for FEP or Shared Administration plans), and more, sign in to Availity.

Premera has several types of plans and the ID cards vary by plan. When patients call, we recommend that you ask them for their health plan and network name. The medical network is typically listed in the upper right corner.
