Taking Care of Members During the Holidays
We’re sending a series of messages to our members to encourage them to get the care they need and make their health a priority during the holidays.
Following up with members who have positive fecal immunochemical test results
We’re working with LetsGetChecked® to provide at-home colorectal cancer screening kits. These free kits were mailed directly to members’ homes. Results will be mailed to the members, and those with a positive result will receive a follow-up letter encouraging them to see a provider.
New health management app for members
Select members will receive an invitation to download and join Wellframe, a free, digital health management platform. Wellframe offers solutions to members experiencing chronic diseases and connects them to care management to help them with their conditions.
Mobile mammography for Federal Employee Program members
We’re reminding Federal Employee Program (FEP) members that mobile mammography services provided by Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center are available in Seattle. This service is accessible to all FEP members.
Location: Rainier Beach Safeway, 9262 Rainier Ave. South, Seattle WA, 98118

Low-back pain
FEP members who may be experiencing low-back pain will receive communication from us to encourage them to seek help from a medical provider. The members also receive a link to explore the FEP Pain Management Resource Center.

Mental health
The holidays can be a tough time for those suffering with mental health issues. We’re reaching out to members to remind them that Premera has tools and resources available for them to get the care and help they need.
