New Vendor Certify Speeds Up Facility Credentialing Process

Starting March 1, 2025, Premera began using a new partner called Certify to help with credentialing. Credentialing is how we make sure providers and facilities meet our standards. This process occurs every 3 years.

What’s new

  • Certify will send an email on Premera’s behalf when it’s time to re-credential your facility or if you’re a directly credentialed provider.
  • You’ll have 90 days to send in your updated information.
  • Re-credentialing is required every 3 years to avoid contract cancellation and remain in good standing.

For providers, we now use CAQH to collect applications. Certify will use the information from CAQH to complete the credentialing process. Visit the Join Our Network webpage for details.

Facility application update
If you’re a new facility, you’ll no longer need to print and email the Premera application. Instead, we’ll send you a link to a form to get started after we’ve received your request to contract with us.
