New Premera Provider Contract

Premera Blue Cross is introducing a new contract for providers, with effective dates beginning as early as this summer. Here’s what you need to know:
- This new contract includes many changes, which focus on revisions necessary to meet regulatory requirements, adjustments to reflect the health plan entities and products that are part of Premera, and modifications to more closely align Premera contracts with those of other payers in the industry.
- New providers joining Premera’s network will receive the new contract starting this summer.
- Premera will begin updating contracts for existing providers in our network soon, though we expect it will take many months to update all contracts.
- In most cases, Premera will send the contract to the email address we have on file for your clinic or organization.
- Send us the appropriate email address to receive contract updates to provider.relations@premera.com and include your TIN in the email.
- Submit your email address on or before July 20.
