Breast Cancer Screening: Mobile Mammography Event
Select Federal Employee Program (FEP) members received invitations about mobile mammography services near their communities. Events were scheduled in October, with an additional event in December.
The goal is to increase accessibility to this important screening for those who may have difficulties visiting conventional healthcare facilities.

Alternative Care Options to the Emergency Department
Throughout 2024, the Member Engagement team is sending information to members who frequently use emergency department (ED) services. The correspondence informs these members about their appropriate care options. Here are the topics covered in the mailer:
- Alternatives to ED visits for non-emergent services like 24-hour NurseLine, telehealth services, and urgent care facilities
- Cost of these alternatives per the member’s specific plan
- Reminders of what’s considered “emergent”
