When to see a specialist

Federal Employee Program (FEP) members will receive guidance on when and how to seek care from a medical specialist. The message aims to assist individuals in understanding the process of obtaining specialist care, preparing for appointments, and considering factors such as transportation and cost. It also advises consulting with a primary care provider if they have questions about pursuing care from a specialist.
