FEP Paper Explanation of Payments Ending August 1

What’s changing:

Paper explanation of payments (EOPs) will be discontinued starting August 1, 2024 if you’re enrolled with electronic funds transfer (EFT) for FEP payments.

Reason for the change:

Online EOPs can help you save time, reduce errors, and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Starting August 1, 2024, Premera will no longer send paper EOPs for FEP payments for providers who are registered for EFT.
