Fee Schedule Maintenance Policy Updates

Premera is updating its Professional Fee Schedule Maintenance Policy to provide more clarity about how fee schedule updates are made throughout the year.  

What to expect 

There are no changes to the timing or methods we use for fee schedule maintenance. Instead, the updated policy is intended to provide a better understanding of the types of updates that may occur, when they typically happen, and when providers can expect to receive communication from us.  

Why this matters 

This update is to improve transparency around our current process for incorporating industry-standard pricing and coding changes into our professional fee schedules.
