Improved Claim Status Options for FEP/Postal Now Available in Availity

Thanks to a new update for the Premera Federal Employee Program (FEP)/Postal payer claim status, you can now quickly identify the status of a claim through three new categories: denied, paid, and action required. All FEP/Postal claims have the new status noted as of June 30.

You’ll need the required Availity role “Claim Status” to see this feature. If you don’t have the claim status role, contact your organization’s Availity Essentials administrator. To find your administrator, sign in to your Availity Essentials account, go to your Account > My Account > Organization(s) > Open My Administrators.
