Premera Code Check Tool Transitions to Availity’s Tool on September 21

Starting September 21, the code check tool will no longer be available on the Premera provider website. In its place, you’ll find a more robust code check tool when you sign in to Availity Essentials. The Availity code check tool provides users with more accurate and enhanced data.

The tool is accessible in two places in Availity:

• Premera Payer Space in Resources
• Authorizations & Referrals > Additional Authorizations and Referrals

You can also use the Premera code list for checking codes on the Premera provider website. The code list is also available in Availity under Payer Spaces or Authorizations & Referrals.
