Premera Medicare Advantage Expands Behavioral Health Specialist Network

Your Premera Blue Cross Medicare Advantage patients now have more approved mental health providers to choose from. Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors are now able to offer services to Medicare members in most practice settings.

This change went into effect on January 1, and expanded the number of licensed therapists in Premera’s Medicare Advantage network. More behavioral health providers will help ease the shortage of available therapists and will lead to more timely appointments for your patients.
