Premera Medicare Quality Stars Program

Premera Medicare Quality Stars is a program that recognizes medical groups and providers that demonstrate a high level of quality for our Medicare Advantage members. Our goal is to help Medicare Advantage members find high-performing primary care providers. This new designation is just one of many sources of information that we can offer members when they select a primary care provider.

The Premera Medicare Quality Stars program evaluates providers using the Star Rating methodology used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Providers who earn a Star rating of 3.5 or more receive a badge icon award next to their profile in our provider directory.
